The Emergency entrance to the Hospital is located off of South Main Street (US-27), across from the Cheboygan River.

Our Emergency Room is staffed around the clock, 24-hours a day, seven days a week. A physician, along with professional staff specially trained in emergency treatment care are always on duty. To reach the Emergency Department, contact the switchboard operator, (231) 627-5601. CMH is part of the Michigan Stroke Network.

North Flight EMS
Emergency helicopters provide special transport when needed at CMH.
CMH is also a member of North Flight EMS through the Munson Healthcare System providing an integrated transport system for critically ill and injured patients that includes:
- Helicopter services throughout Michigan's Lower Peninsula and eastern Upper Peninsula
- Nationwide fixed-wing services
- Ground ambulance services throughout northern Michigan
