The Indian River Chamber of Commerce presents the Summerfest Kayak-Bike Biathlon on Sunday, July 19, 2009. It begins at 9:00 a.m. at DeVoe Public Beach on Burt Lake and features 2.24 miles of kayaking on the scenic Inland Waterway along with 11.68 miles of cycling on the North Central Trail.
The event is limited to the first 100 people to register. Entry fee is $30 in advance, or $40 the day of the event. For more information on registration or volunteering for this event, contact Jess Miller at (231) 238-4492.
The Biathlon event is sponosored in part by the Indian River Medical Center.
