MSU Medical Students at CMH

Three third-year Medical Students from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSU COM) have begun their clinical rotations at Cheboygan Memorial Hospital (CMH). All three are scheduled to spend time under the direction of supervising physicians for the next six months at CMH. Pictured, left to right, are Erin Darlington, Amanda Freschauf and Kelli Broekema.

Darlington is a Michigan native. She is from Novi and completed her undergraduate work at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.

Freschauf hails from Tacoma, Washington. She did her undergraduate work at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and worked with AmeriCorps in the state of Washington. 

Broekema completed her undergraduate work at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California and spent time with the Kellogg Foundation working with children in South Africa. She is from Augusta, Michigan (which is near Kalamazoo).

The medical student rotation program through the MSU COM is coordinated in northern Michigan by the Munson Healthcare system.
