Cheboygan Memorial Hospital and Northern Michigan Regional Health System have entered into an agreement to explore the possibility of an affiliate membership for Cheboygan Memorial Hospital in the Northern Michigan Regional Health System. "A regional approach such as this can benefit our local community by offering a broad range of services while creating added efficiencies in the delivery of healthcare," said Brian E. Dietz, Chief Executive Officer of CMH. Over the next several months, the two organizations will participate in discussions to determine how to best structure a partnership for the mutual benefit of the organizations and the communities they serve. By sharing resources and adopting common evidence-based quality and safety processes, an overall goal is to reduce cost and achieve benchmark levels of performance. Northern Michigan Regional Health System is a non-profit organization providing patient centered specialized care to residents in 22 counties throughout northern Michigan and the eastern Upper Peninsula.
