New Physician at CMH
Dr. Hoffman Joins Urgent Care Staff
Cheboygan Memorial Hospital (CMH) is proud to announce a new addition to their medical staff. Jay Hoffman, D.O. is now seeing patients at the Urgent Care Walk-in Clinic inside the Health Center, located at 740 South Main Street in Cheboygan.
Dr. Hoffman comes to Cheboygan from the mid-Michigan area where he practiced at several locations, including Bay City, Saginaw, Frankenmuth and Gladwin. He was also a Temporary Associate Professor in the Physician Assistant Program at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.
Hoffman is excited about being in northern Michigan. “My family feels this is a super place and a great area that offers so much. We can’t wait to get involved and be active in the community”, said Hoffman.
He is also impressed with the staff and facility at CMH. “On our visits to Cheboygan we saw how much support there was amongst the administrative team, the physicians and the entire staff. It was easy to see how much they cared about their patients”, exclaimed Hoffman. “Having a well-equipped facility and well-trained staff, as well an emergency room available, all combined to make it a very attractive place for me to practice”, he added.
The Urgent Care Walk-in Clinic is located on the first floor of the Health Center, just inside the revolving doors and is open to patients seven days a week, from 11:00 am to 8:00 p.m. every day. To reach Urgent Care, call (231) 627-5601.
